I just wanted to wish all of Spongen a happy Easter. Don't eat too many chocolate bunnies and eggs, or else you'll get quite ill. Happy Easter everyone.:boogie:
I get nothing because my family is out of town for most of today. I have school tomorrow, so I have to miss all of the major Easter parties. I don't think there are major Easter parties but whatever. Hope everyone gets visited by the Easter bunny.

I love telling people the true meaning of Easter. It's fun. And by true meaning, I mean the celebration of the fertility goddess Eostre. All those eggs, chicks, and bunnies? Fertility symbols, all. ^_^

It's so very wrong on some level to see children running around playing with fertility symbols. Especially maypoles. How can you miss that a maypole is a giant phallus?

My insane friend had me buy a crapload of pipe cleaners for her. "I'm building a rabbit," she said. Cool, I thought, a model rabbit for Easter, maybe it's a present for a friend or something.

Easter Sunday, the door buzzer goes. Up the stairs to the flat comes the prettier cousin of Frank from Donnie Darko. Turns out she was making an enormous and elaborate rabbit mask from wire/pipe cleaners/papier maché/flowers; we got an actual visit from the Easter Bunny. ^_^
