There's a good one in Toronto tonight at ~8:00-12:00, not sure what time for else where.

So those near the area, e.g. Jackie, just a heads up. :)

I saw it as I was going home from school. It looks great. Too bad I couldn't get a good picture of it. :< Too small on my phone! But finally, usually when things like this happen, it's so cloudy! Clear this time.

My parents and I were just watching it, too. It's really clear from my little town in Ohio here, which is a nice and surprising treat...like Rye said, it's usually just too damn cloudy when something interesting happens!
Should be almost completely covered in a few minutes here, actually.

Just got in from watching it, it was pretty cool. Not only was it perfectly clear, but it was also not as cold as it could be. (Only -8C or so, much better then the -40 from a few weeks ago.) Plus, living in the country helps. We turned off most of the lights before going to stand on the hill in the back yard.

It's completely covered here now, but I it's not as dark as I thought; kinda just dark brown. I thought it was gonna be like The Ring, heheh.

We actually could see it really well and the stars for living in a place that's usually well lighted. I was surprised.

Yes, I'm still learning how to use the camera.
Froze my butt off trying to set the shutter speed...

Hrhr that's pretty good, pretty much the same sight as here. I haven't tried it myself since I thought it'd be too difficult to get a good focused shot.

It was supposed to have been a full eclipse here in the Northwest, but when I went out to look, there was somebody driving their car eerily slow up and down the street... so I went inside rather quickly. T_T;

Tana you're here!! lol
I saw it around 9:45 my time and it was almost fully covered. My brother called me half an hour later from Annapolis and was like "Did you know there was a lunar eclipse tonight?? I had no freakin idea!". Ah, my little brother, the scholar...

The people across from me had all their exterior lights on, which was annoying as hell, but the skies were clear and it was even halfway warm for a Montana Winter evening (read: above 0). Unfortunately, I don't own a tripod, so I couldn't get any decent pictures of it. But we enjoyed it immensely.

Scaredy cat.
Haha, I saw it on my way to work. Thank god for light pollution.

Ha ha, Tana, they were probably looking at the eclipse too XD
I watched it for a couple minutes, when the moon was like 3/4 covered.

Ooh, thank you for posting a picture, Brewmeister. I kidnapped my mom's digital camera and tried to get a picture of it, but it didn't turn out so well. And I looked incredibly stupid out in the snow and the 10-degree weather in my pajamas. XD
And same here, Reives. Well, I didn't think it would be like the Ring, but I thought it would be almost invisible. The glowing dark brown was much "prettier" than what I was imagining, for lack of a better word.

That's funny, Euph. I was out there in my jams too. Probably why it's a little blurry from shivering. It was 4 deg. F up here in Michigan.
I watched the rest from inside. Kept walking down to the bathroom & peaking out the window.

I was inside playing Yu-gi-oh.
Thanks for the picture, Brew. I would never have seen it otherwise! :thanks:
