At Lunarea's suggestion, here we can talk about possible upcoming community activities. And while you guys do that, I'm going to randomly assign secret santas.

Possible Upcoming Activities:

Be My Valentine

On or before Valentine's day, anyone who wishes to can create a Valentine for one or more members of the community. They can be anonymous or not, it can be love, liking, friendship, or just a thank you. They'll be displayed publicly on Valentine's day.

Community Colab
(Spring Break Activity - idea by Lunarea)

Anyone who wants to participate must team up with one person that they aren't currently working with (and preferably haven't worked with before) and create one collaborative work (art, music, game, story, whatever). How you work together and on what is up to you.

Project Cosplay

Create your original character (or yourself) cosplaying as the character in someone else's (or another of yours) project. It's fun, and good advertisement for you and your favorite projects out there!

These ideas sound very nice. :) I don't really understand the Project Cosplay one though--is it you cosplaying as someone else's project, or is it you spriting something or drawing something that is cosplaying?

Either.

It can be a photo of you cosplaying as your own or another member's character, or it can be a drawing (or painting or sprite or...) of you or one of your characters cosplaying as an original character by another member.

Ooh, cosplay sounds like a lot of fun! I can just imagine how funny some of the contributions will be!

Possible idea:
Lottery! (not associated with specific time/holiday)

There would be 3 prizes donated by our very own wonderfully talented members (it can either be existing work or something made especially for the winners).

The active membership would pick 3 numbers between 1 and 300 (or whatever range is decided) on a first-come, first-serve basis over a period of 2 weeks.

This would be followed by a very exciting draw!

The winners, in addition to receiving their fabulous prizes, would submit a contribution for the next lottery event.

The Be My Valentine idea's adorable, and Project Cosplay is made of pure win. If time allowed it, I'd definitely join the latter. :D

I'd definitely take part in the Valentine's Day activity.

Prepare to be really annoyed when Valentine's Day comes, ccoa... :p

Ugh, I rather not have a Valentine's Day thing. I never liked that... "holiday". :\

I think the Cosplay thing, and the Lottery thing sound good. If we did the lottery, I could probably contribute a couple scripts here and there if wanted.

Okay, the lottery sounds like a fun idea. Who wants to be the initial prize donator?

Also, none of the activities are mandatory, Atemu. You don't have to do any that you don't like.

Hey, for the first prize, I could donate a custom HUD to the winner, made to specification upon winning.

Remember, this isn't an RMXP forum, so there's the chance the winner doesn't need a script.

For second prize I could pixel anything the winner wanted within a 300x300 image! :3

True, but if the prizes are specified at the beggining of each lottery, everyone will know what they are entering to win.

I will offer 2 back-up prizes (in case someone's computer gets taken over by an army of malevolent gerbils with a penchant for world domination or if another prize is needed).

1) A short story or poem using the winner's theme of choice.

2) A biography or story-like background for the winner's character of choice (I may need a little guidance if I'm unfamiliar with the character).
