[OLD]Project Highlight: Aerosol Rebel

You might know him as the zany guy who hugs curves with his motorcycle and yells random nonsense at anyone who'll listen. But did you also know that our very own Kojo is a talented film director? His screenplays are always interesting and enticing, but his latest project is nothing short of a masterpiece.

I loved this screenplay when I read it on your blogs. I found it to be a very engaging story. I can't wait till you're finished to see what you'll do next. The production photos look great. :D

Wow, you're setting the bar pretty high with "masterpiece." I'll keep you guys updated with showing times if I get them.

I agree with Ronnie, the screenplay was very engaging... it was quite an enjoyable read. I'm also quite partial to the title.

Keep us updated on your fabulous adventures Kojo!

Agreed, the screenplay was awesome! It flowed quickly enough to keep me engaged but still had a lot of power and meaning behind it. And the stills look really interesting...I appreciate a director who can take a moment out of his busy schedule to make a goofy face at the camera. Then again, I am biased because it's KOJO TIME after all. :uhh:

And I'm curious, how exactly does the release work? I know quite a few theaters show indie films during the weekdays when things are slow, but how widespread does this kind of thing go out of your area? Will it eventually be on the interwebs or available for download, etc? I know next to nothing about indie films, so sorry if it sounds like a dumb question, haha.

No, Euph, it's not a dumb question at all.

Basically with a short film like this one, the release is usually within film festivals. I plan on taking this to many festivals around the US and possibly (As it has happened before) the world. Once the festival run is completed, I plan on releasing it publicly online. After it's online release, the screen time it has outside of that format dramatically decreases to just an occasional local TV spot, if anything at all.

Whoa, this is pretty cool! I'm a fan of indie films, and this does seem to have potential - good luck pulling it off! Also, is it me or does Brian look a little like Russell Crowe? :P

Hey I just noticed that one of the guys in the picture has a Sistine Chapel belt buckle... XD

That must be a lot of fun, traveling around to the various film festivals to show off your production. How do those work anyway? Do you get a schedule time, and you try to advertise folks to come watch? What other parts of the world are you hoping to travel to for film festivals?
