I just got back from Vegas, i lost a crap ton of money but won enough back that I'm only $-260. My friend went positive $100 or so. Also bet on the baseball game and won. I should have bet all my money on it.

Has anyone else been to Vegas? What were your wins and losses like? What casinos do you remember having a good time at? I had a great time at Caesar's Palace and Bellagio (won big at both). Slots A Fun also had two machines that won big for both of us, but we later lost big at them (bet the attendants jacked the winning ratio on them).

Anyway it was my first trip there and it was awesome. Can't wait to go back, but man I need to save up a lot more.

Also, Sin City indeed. Only place i know where you can smoke everywhere indoors and there were illegal shades/punksters (aliens) and homeless bums handing out business cards for strip joints and hookers to everyone, including senior citizens. Just my kind of place!

Not really. Too young to drink, old enough to join the army. I don't gamble merely because I live around casinos and I know how they make money, and it's not by letting people win. And I don't know how old you have to be.

ya gotta be 21 to be in a casino, even if you don't gamble. It's cool though, when you turn 21 you should hit the casinos with friends to watch them lose money.

I went there a little over five years ago with my parents. I was thirteen, so nothing very crazy went down. XD

It was pretty awesome for a thirteen-year-old, though. We went to the M&Ms factory where they have like every color in existence, the huge Rainforest Cafe, the medieval jousting show at Excalibur's, and a crapload of hotels. But the best part was actually when my dad took me to this diner in "old" Vegas where they had a mystery murder dinner. They faked the side of some lady's head exploding. :omfg:

I'd like to go back again when I'm older, but I doubt I would gamble much outside of a couple slots. Just not really my thing.

We usually hang at the Luxor. We like it there. We also have spent time in Ceasar's Palace, Paris, Bellagio, and New York. When I was a kid, we stayed at the MGM. I love Vegas, but rarely spend money there gambling. We usually come out even or down $20 or so. We go more for the atmosphere and shows. Hub and I love it there.

Let's stop going off topic and stick to what the thread is about. Vegas! (btw those weren't racial slurs, unless you think illegal alien is somehow a racial insult and not a term for someone not legally in the country).

The topic isn't about race it's about Vegas and Died has a right to steer the topic back. Illegal Alien isn't a racial slur anyways. Is mentioning that or even a particular race at all racist? He didn't even say anything negative about it anyways, if anything the "mind kind of place!" line was saying it in a postive way. Besides I don't get the bent out of shape at the names. Died jokes about that kind of thing. If it was really a negative slur why would he mention Shade who is good friends with Died? It's just a joke. Lighten up people and stop getting all crazy PC about it.

As far as my venture to vegas. I'm not really big on gambling and I wouldn't have a desire to go see any strippers or prostitutes ^^ I went there to visit my brother and lost like 40 bucks or so. I don't really like gambling because I always have the worst freakin luck evers. XD But if I want to gamble there's some casinos right here in CT so I can just hitch over there really. I always lose and never win. But I usually do slot machines and things like that. I haven't tried any table games. I hear there's a certian way you have to put yourself in the game or something and I don't feel like bothering with that crap. Especailly with the crazy SERIOUS gamblers. They are scary :x

If anything, just enjoying the "sinful" atmosphere of Vegas is great. I can't wait to go back. But I have to save up a lot more next time since the next trip won't be free.

That's because those people have already dished out and lost thousands of dollars~ Died if you regularly gamble get one of those rewards cards. Because then even if you lose money all the time like me you can eventually earn some back for food and get deals from the hotel sent to you once in a while.

Yeah I picked up a couple of those. It'll be nice to score a free room at Caesar's Palace. :)

Unfortunately i'll have to spend money to earn free goodies, so that would be like 2 trips from now. I can see this as a biyearly or even yearly trip!

Yearly trips XD? I got the card because I live around here and sometimes my mom borrows mine just to stack up the points. Though I haven't gotten anything so far yet. But CT casinos are more cheaper about their crap than in vegas.
