You can access the ChatSpike Java Client (JavaSpike) here (http://www.chatspike.net/index.php?p=javairc)

be sure that as soon as you get on the network to register your nick and the syntax for that is

/ns register <pass> <email>

where <pass> is your password and <email> is your email address. Be sure to verify your nick as well.

I can use firefox, but it wasn't working so used safari and couldn't chat =\. I just wanted to say ;).

Nope, doesn't work. Riogoshikku is also having trouble getting connected.

It just says it's unable to resolve server, and it just isn't connecting. No real error message.

Hmmm, well thats not the server then, as far as i can see its a prob with your connection of sorts. Sorry for stating the obvious.

Well, my internet is working fine. Now Raven can't get in.

Mine just says:
"Connecting...
Unable to connect : java.net.UnknownHostException : irc.chatspike.net "

That's it, over and over and over, every time i try to connect, my internet is just fine.

I have asked and there is no real explanation as to why this is happening. Have you tried using a better client? i would also suggest the chatspike website but if you have already tried getting in through that then i'm not sure

IRC is down for me too, i think it's to do with remote accessing being blocked off for some reason, only a few people have a chance to get on...they've messed up their settings no doubt.

It kept disconnecting me, then I thought of something random, I copy and pasted that one address that Trickster posted up "/server 208.68.94.19" and I gotten in! That's random!
