I just wanna know if it's just me or not, but every single thread that has more than 3 posts keeps showing up as "new". If I close this tab on my browser and come back - it's there. If I'm some Generation forum and head to Chatter, then back, it's there. It's old posts and it keeps taking me to pretty much the post before I posted last (if I posted, and if not the 3rd post made).
Like the intro thread keeps taking me to Alexia's 1st post. I've read. I've scrolled the entire page up and down and did page by page to just get rid of it.
Is it just me?

Actually it does that for me too. It's irritating but it's probably that way for everybody? You mean, it only takes you to the top of the page, and not your last post in that topic, right?

No, I mean it takes me to the posts I indicated. None of them, at least for me are start of the page. I could understand that, because it would be sending you to the last page, but this is scrolling down even. Just not to the right place - often, but not always, the right page.

All I can imagine that would be wrong is an error with the cookies. Apparently, something isn't sorted out there well enough to indicate whether you've visited a topic. If I had to guess, then the cookies are only updated as soon as you leave a page, instead of entering it.

Yeah it does that to me, too. I'll reply in a topic and it still says it's unread. If something has 50 pages I'm not going to click through the 25 I didn't post in ... Well there's nothing that big here [yet] but you get my point.
More of an annoyance than anything :')
I don't seem to have this problem with any other forum I go to, so it might just be the way this forum is handling specific cookies.

So I was right, then. That's what's happening to me. Maybe I just used a poor choice of words to explain, ugh. Well if it's happening for everyone, it isn't a big deal. Or at least, that's the way I look at it.

I believe it's because of the "post view" thing is set to something like "time". rmxp.org has this problem when it started, but Erk quickly change it to "view". Well, something like that.
